Here at RoundTrip, we have experienced a lot of milestones and achievements for our first year in business.

RoundTrip conducted a friends and family funding round in June 2016.  With this round, we were able to develop their mobile application and a user-friendly web portal.

In September, RoundTrip was selected as one of five finalists for Philadelphia Magazine’sThe Pitch,” a competition where local startups pitched their business ideas to a panel of judges.  The company was also recognized as a winner in the Aging2.0 Richmond startup pitch event. RoundTrip officially launched services in the Mid-Atlantic region in the Fall of 2016. In November, the company announced a partnership with Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, DE to enhance patient transportation services. Nemours is using RoundTrip’s web-based portal and mobile platform to coordinate non-emergency medical transportation services and connect their patients with certified drivers.

Alex Lekacz, Client Services Specialist

In December, RoundTrip was accepted into Philly Startup Leaders’ Accelerator, a 12-week program providing those who are accepted with in-depth training and one-on-one mentoring from local experts and entrepreneurs in the tech industry.  To close out the year, RoundTrip added one new team member, Alex Lekacz, as Client Services Specialist.  In this role, Lekacz will be responsible for the client facing side of RoundTrip; dealing with day to day operations of the company’s clients.  Lekacz graduated from McGill College in Montreal, Canada.
