Every day, you interact with patient transportation in a way unique to your role. What perspective on patient transportation/NEMT do you wish more people knew?

One of the things I have loved about my time in healthcare is that, even though I’m not on the front lines, I’ve been part of building teams that make an impact across all aspects of patient care. Transportation accessibility is often taken for granted, yet it plays a critical role in ensuring patients can get the care they need. I can’t tell you how many times candidates have said our concept and product just makes sense, and that it expands the way they think about healthcare. I wish more people realized how vital it is.

What mentor or prominent figure has influenced you in your career and why?

“Throughout my career, I have been extremely fortunate to have managers and leaders who have supported my growth and pushed me outside of my comfort zone. With each role I’ve had, I’ve taken something from those experiences and the people I’ve worked with and made it part of how I work today.

What do you enjoy about working at Roundtrip?

“What I enjoy most about working at Roundtrip is watching the team grow and collaborate. It’s especially rewarding to see everyone come together in person after spending most of our time working remotely, and to see how naturally the team engages, connects, and builds relationships.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

“Being a mom of three (8, 13, and 15) keeps me busy most days. You’ll usually find me at a soccer, baseball, or lacrosse field, cheering my kids on and watching them do what they love. I also love to travel and explore new places, sometimes that’s a new city, and sometimes it’s just a quiet day poolside.

If you could describe Roundtrip’s culture in one word, what would it be and why?

“Collaborative – Roundtrip’s culture is highly collaborative, with a strong sense of openness and encouragement to try new things. It’s an environment where innovation is supported, and people work closely together to solve problems and improve how things are done. There’s also an authentic feel to the team, you can show up as your real self each day and feel comfortable doing so.”

If you could donate $1 million to any organization, what would it be and why?

“If I could donate a million dollars to any foundation, it would be one that directly impacts the lives of children. After losing a young cousin to cancer, I’m especially drawn to organizations that support families going through similar experiences, helping ensure children can receive the care they need while also easing the financial burden so parents can focus on being present during such a difficult time.
